One Act Season

The first two one act shows listed here are written by Julia Jarel - a local author
 - and are "humorous exposes of the foibles of suburbia".

a comedy/drama about love and betrayal
Cast Required: 4 women and 3 men

These two plays will run concurrently and it is envisaged that we will ask auditionees to consider taking a role in both plays.
Consideration will also be given to enterting these plays for the One Act Play Festival to be held in September.

"Indian Summer"

Sunday Night. A Railway Station Cafe. Two Girls. Twelve Secrets.
Two girls working in a British Railway Cafe compare their rootless lives and dream about possible escapes. The same two actresses play ten other roles, as various women walk into the cafe in different states of despair, inebriation and joy.

The play requires two versatile actors with strong drive and commitment.
Laura- 20-30’s
Steph-30-40’s
These ages are a rough guide, but Steph needs to be older than Laura.
