Skipping Stone Productions are currently seeking a male actor for Skipping Stones upcoming Production 'The Innocent'an original work by H. Purio and C. Girardi. "The Innocent" will run from Dec. 1-4 at the King Street Arts Centre, Perth.
To compliment the piece, SSP is organising an art exhibition to coincide with the staging of the play. The exhibition aims to highlight the themes explored in "The Innocent" through the mediums of painting, sculpture and photography as well as support West Australia's young artists. "The Innocent" aims to confront and reevaluate socio-cultural sexual norms, with specific focus on age, sexual experience and media influenced expectation. Because the themes are quite confronting we are seeking young adult actors with a mature attitude, dedicated work ethic and a willingness to experiment with new ideas.
We are seeking to fill the male role within the next few week, auditions will be held at times most convenient to performers at the King Street Arts Centre Perth.
Auditionees are asked to prepare TWO contrasting monologues (preferably one of black comedic nature).
