The Monsters. A three act tragedy.
"Max, a young mother, seperated from her child and her husband. Her only company is the monster
that lives in her house. But does the Monster really exist? Her husband (Oliver) will find out
the hard way... Follow the story of three generations of women struggling to decifer the truth
from apparent insanity."
A June / July production. Profit share. Currently looking for actors who are willing to participate
in a production of a world premiering play.
Characters:
- MAX, 28, Mother of NAT, married to OLIVER.
- OLIVER, 29, Father of NAT, married to MAX.
- NAT, 8 to 33. Daughter of both MAX & OLIVER, Mother of SHAUN & TEIGUE.
- SHAUN, 7, Son of NAT, Brother of TEIGUE.
- TEIGUE, 10 to 18, Son of NAT, Brother of SHAUN.
- ELAINE, 44, adoptive Mother of TEIGUE, Mother to ROXANNE.
- ROXANNE, 22, adoptive Sister of TEIGUE, Daughter to ELAINE.
- NEXUS, ageless and androgenous. An angel.
Age is not a necessity, as more than one character has to play two different ages.
