The Western Australian Youth Theatre Company is presenting the project GIANTS HAVE US IN THEIR BOOKS at the Totem Cafe in February 2001. The project is a group of six plays by an American author, Jose Rivera. These plays are contemporary, new and innovative and offer many challenges for an actor.
The plays will be directed by more experienced young directors and mentored by the Artistic Director, Jenny Davis.
Members of the cast will be required for all rehearsals and performances:
REHEARSALS-intensive week Jan 8-12, 9.00am-4.00pm
Sundays Jan 21, 28, Feb 4, 11, 9.00am-4.00pm
Technical rehearsals Feb 15, 16
Rehearsals to be held at the King St Arts Centre
PERFORMANCES-February 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24
Auditions will be held on November 12 at the King St Arts Centre.
