We're holding auditions for our short film 'Mike Can Blow Smoke Rings' on Friday, November 22nd at the Film and Television Institute in Fremantle. The film is being funded by FTI and is designed for Tropfest 2003. At this stage, shooting is schedueled for the week beginning December 8th. Because our script is heavily dialogue driven, we require our auditioning actors to prepare a scene from the actual script. Actors can contact me on 0403 151 684 or email scaarproductions@hotmail.com to arrange an audition time and a copy of the script.
Mike - early to mid twenties, fairly built. Strong, leader-type who is determined to break family tradition and become a successful criminal.
Joey - early to mid twenties, Mike's best mate.
Ben - early to mid twenties, not too bright, Joey's sidekick.
WARNING - All actors must be prepared to wear a fake mullet!
The film is being shot by award winning cinematographer Jason Thomas, so although shoots will be professional, come prepared to have heaps of fun!
