2000 Planners
Fri, 26 Nov 1999, 03:01 pmI am interested in getting from as many theatre companies as possible, their 2000 planners, listing the names of shows and dates they are performing. Anyone care to share??
Thanks in advance.
Teri

RE: 2000 Planners
Fri, 26 Nov 1999, 05:44 pmHi Teri
Wouldn't it be lovely if there was a central database where we could all record and update what shows we're doing, going to do and have done.
At a glance we'd be able to check what is happening.

One step ahead of you Teri :)
If you check the What's On page, you'll notice that you can already edit the details of an entry if you have your club's password.
well,.. this very weekend a button will be appearing on this website that will allow people to add their events directly to the what's on database.
In fact, you can use this link to go there now!
http://theatre.asn.au/addevent.php3
In order to add a show:
1. your company must be in the companies database - click on the companies button and add it, if it doesn't appear at the link above.
2. you need your company password - contact me directly if you would like your club's password! (i'll email yours to you now Teri)
Please don't hesitate to contact me for these passwords - unless i'm told otherwise by a particular club, i'm very happy to pass the passwords on to any member (or even someone just doing a show with the club) that has the interest to do a bit to promote their club. If we have to sit around waiting for committees, you know it will never get done!
Cheers
Grant
PS I'll also be throwing up a better search engine to find what's on... so youcan do things like search to see who has done/is doing a particular show - or find out what shows a particular company is doing.
