A Mystery Solved...
Tue, 28 Sept 1999, 02:15 pmDramaFest '99 is over (except for the Encore Night on Sunday, Oct 3), there were many excellent productions, and all involved seemed to enjoy themselves. However, perhaps the greatest revelation of the weekend, the culmination, the "Magic Moment" if you will, was the opportunity, at long last, to meet the elusive, the mysterious, the never-short-of-a-comment, Mr Joe McCabe! Yes, that's right, Joe McCabe is not a gossip-column ghost, not a cyberspace shade, not an internet imp. He is, in fact, real and tangible (and quite personable).Although, conspicuous by her absence, Teri Welch may be a different matter entirely...

Re: A Mystery Solved...
Not only was Joe there in person he helped to avert a crisis of mammoth proportions!!!!!!Being an 'old' thespian he never travels without his box of tricks (in this case a full set of tools, (and no ribald comments please)The lock to the refreshment room door jammed on SaturdaY, the key broke and we were STUCK so Neil & Joe to the rescue, the former shinned up a ladder to get in through the window and Joe took the lock apart so that we could get in and out. Thanks Joe.> The man is given to understatement.> dang! i'm sorry i missed you Joe.> i understand Teri was there although incognito.> Cheers> Grant
