Hi all!Isn't it amazing what the prospect of a prize can do ?? :)The Winner of the "Who's Mis-spent Far Too Much of Their Youth Watching Dr Who" Award goes to...Grant Malcolm!!(thunderous applause, tumultuous theme music, which stops abruptly, letting Grant say his piece, until he starts babbling, upon which the orchestra strikes up loudly, bu subtly, preventing him from being heard)This wasn't rigged (Hehe), as Grant's response was the first I saw.The Prize is the Knowledge that my birthplace (Redhill General Hospital, Surrey UK) was the location for many of the interior scenes of various episodes of Dr Who from 1973-1978.El

To lose is to win and he who wins shall lose...

A youth mispent? Possibly, but I do have a lot to thank the Doctor for ("splendid fellow, all of them") - my interest in the Performing Arts for one, and a diabolically annoying way of diverting serious conversations and e-mail discussions...It's given Jodi Cant something to write about in plays too...("WHO ARE YOU? WHY ARE YOU HERE?")I believe many people have alot to thank the series for in terms of giving them the inspiration to be unfettered by the boundaries of time and space, consider bizarre possibilities like dematerialsing police boxes, and malevolent pepper-pots, and giving alot of new, young writers, directors, designers, musicians and actors a place in which to further their trade. And...it's just so much FUN, inspite of the low budgets, B-Grade villians etc...I must have a chat to you about that hospital - they've got a lot to answer for...Got any pickies of Who sets? Now, give me a really hard Who question to answer...The Master

That's right - must be a problem with contracts or appearance fee's.

Fear

My dear Apprentice,Such negativity and uninspired for someone starting out on the dark path...Subtlety, discretion, humour, honour, the glory of the chase...these are the qualities that make a mere novice quite masterly! "Are you afraid?...You are wise to fear me!" Was the Queen Spider making a summation that is appropriate here? Hmm?Or perhaps I should provide you with a question, to test your strength of character and your right to exist in the Whoniverse? Or will you keep saying 'No'?The Master

Heritage

My dear Emily,Where will I begin? Are you wanting a biography of 'the Doctor' or the fictional character 'Doctor Who' created by tellurians for their amusement?Let's start with this: 'The Doctor' is a Timelord, and a native of the planet Gallifrey. Rumours suggest that he was one of the most powerful political figures in Timelord history. Others propose that he is half-human.TBCThe Master

Re: Heritage

But as asked in Silver Nemesis by Ace to the Doctor: "Who are you?" It's a question with no answer

Or> will you keep saying 'No'?> The Master>A-ffirmative. I will keep responding in the negative as I have tired grievioiusly of this Doctor-Who-related nonsense.Surely there is a web-site out there for you people? Or a padded cell, perhaps? The Apprentice

Pish and tish!

Dear 'Apprentice',God, for a 'Master' I got landed with a real claytons didn't I? A letter to Rassilon about this!Yes, you're right. The ITA website is far too 'grown up' and intellectual for childish flights of fancy...This nonsense has to stop (imagine this being said in low, serious tones, not unlike Brian Blessed...)Or are you just a big party pooper? No more e-mails - bored now..."Padded cells are hear again, da, da, da, da, da, da, da..."Toot-toot!The M.
