young talent on the lookout

Im 17yrs old.. a youngen! Ive been passionate about drama and have recent and past experience on the stage. im looking for anything really that i can get, i just want experience and a foot in.. So if anyone has some tips on places i can get auditions for like, home and away or something like that, it'd be greatly appriciated! thank you! Amy

I can't figure out where you are. What city do you live in? The advice will change depending on that info. Generally you have to decide whether or not you are planning to attempt to make a career of the theatre? Are you more interested in music theatre or straight drama? If you are interested in film and TV then you need to get an agent with all the pitfalls that surround that simple sounding task. Do you enjoy frustration and unemployment, do you enjoy family members asking continuously when you are going to get a proper job?
