'Thom Pain (based on nothing)' Opens Aug 22

‘Thom Pain (based on nothing)’, the award winning play written by recent OPPENHEIMER award winner Will Eno, comes to Perth for the first time on August 22nd 2006, debuting at the Bakery ARTRAGE Complex in Northbridge.
The play, a 70 minute one-man show starring Tomás Ford (‘Tomás Ford’s Cabaret of Death’), was first performed in London at the Soho Theatre and then played to critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Festival, where it received the Fringe First Award and the Herald Angel Award.
'Thom Pain' was a critical success in both London and off-Broadway New York being nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2005. Writer Will Eno recently received the Newsday's George Oppenheimer Award as Most Promising Playwright.
Directed by Rebekah Smith, with generous support from ArtsWA and ARTRAGE, ‘Thom Pain (based on nothing)’ plays for five nights only.
